Extension of time for conduct of AGM by Companies extended

Every company registered under the Companies Act, 2013 has to conduct its AGM every year.

The due date for the same normally falls on or before 30th September for most of the Companies.

Due to various representations received from the stakeholders, the Ministry of Corporate affairs has extended the time of holding Annual General Meetings (AGM) for the financial year ended 31st March 2021.

Individual Registrar of Companies have issued orders in this regard.

As per this order, the time for conduct of AGM has been extended by 2 months from the original Due date.

Effectively, all the companies have to conduct their Annual General Meeting on or before 30th Nov 2021.
