The Central Board of Direct Taxes has decided to extend the time limit for filing ITR-V forms relating to income tax returns for A.Y 2010 – 2011 filed electronically on or before 1st April 2010.
Those who have filed their returns on or before 1st April 2010 electronically, without digital signatures , initially had time upto 120 days from the date of filing. Now this time is extended upto July 31st 2011.
Those who have not sent their ITR-V (or) who have already sent their ITR-V and not yet received their Acknowledgement by email can make use of this opportunity and file their ITR-V now.
